Wedding in the Jura
450 km to get there, one more stop for the mechanics but a small incident on the way back.
CA ROULE
After taking the Lyon ring road and other short sections of motorway to Beynost, the departmental and national roads are on the program.
Ready to take the newlyweds.
Shortly after leaving the Jura, an incident occurred.
While cruising, the engine stopped exploding.
Fortunately, a bypass road allowed us to calmly manage the problem. Although it was a Sunday, and if a tow truck were needed, the situation would suddenly be less trivial!
After a few haphazard maneuvers and restart attempts, the 2CV took off again.
As for me, a little apprehension prevailed during the 100 km that separated us from the finish.
Back to Lyon.
Always more comfortable on the roads, the return journey will be via the standard route (section of motorway from Les Echets).
This incident will occur a second time, the diagnosis will direct me to a bad contact in the Neiman switch. Problem solved.
A perfect journey for a 2CV.
